Sunrise at Ilchulbong Tuff Cone in Jeju

Hubby and I went back to Jeju-do. We stayed from Thursday afternoon to Monday night. We woke up very early last Friday and climbed Ilchulbong for the second time. This time to see the sunrise. We forced to reach the peak in 20minutes and waited until the sun appears. The clouds covered the sun thus we couldn’t see it rising from the ocean. Many local tourists waited but some had left earlier. We were one of those who waited. When the sun came out, many exclaimed “woooh”. And we were just amazed at how beautiful and magnificent the view. We went down and took more photos of the sun near Ilchulbong.

An Early Picnic

The weather has been great the past few days. Seeing a 9degree celcius at night on my weather apps make me soooo eager to go for an overnight camping with hubby but he always declines it explaining it would be very cold in dawn. So I resorted to an afternoon picnic last Saturday. We woke up late. I planned to prepare our food but didn’t have the time to do so thus we just bought breads, french fries and make some hot water for coffee. It was good. I was in full relaxation while lying on hubby’s lap and watching people play badminton and a kid playing with his dog. Korea has lots of parks making it a good place for picnic.

It was 13degrees celcius when we had our picnic. Hubby didn’t wear a winter coat so he felt cold the whole time we were on picnic. I feel sorry for him but I was having a great time kkk. When the sun had set we packed up and went home. We’re planning for another picnic in April when the weather is a lot warmer. :-)
