Los Amigos at Itaewon
Hubby accompanied me today to Seoul for my regular apppintment with my doctor. Instead of dining at some restaurants in CoEx or Calt building, we decided to go to Itaewon this time. He’s into Mexican food nowadays and we chose to eat at Los Amigos. The food was great and the price of the food is reasonable. We spent about 37,500 won for our food which includes unlimited nachos. We ordered “Any Three” of the restaurant’s combo meal and calamares. We opted for cheese and bean burritos, chicken tacos and beef enchiladas. Hubby also ordered a glass of beer. We were so full when we went out.
We didn’t order dessert because we planned to eat ice cream at Coldstone. But after searching for the store for about 20 minutes (that includes stopping by at an Apple store ㅋㅋㅋ) and we still couldn’t find the place, I asked him to just buy ice cream at 7-eleven. We are now on our way back home.
To go to Los Amigos, walk straight from exit#2 of Itaewon Station. It will take you about 3 minutes by walk. The restaurant is not along the main road. When you see G-Factory/Casio store, turn to your left and you’ll see the sign Los Amigos. Note: if you walk further straight and see GS Caltex station on your right (across the main road), you already missed the place where you’re supposed to turn left.
Yonsei Korean Language Institute
I received an email yesterday from Yonsei KLI informing me of my admission for my Korean language study. The class will start on June 25. That’s good for me since I have time to study before the placement test a week before the class starts. I’m a bit worried about the placement test because my listening skill is so poor. I hope they will honor the certificate I earned at Sungkyunkwan for passing Level 2 and won’t put me at the same level. If I can’t study at Level 3, I might as well go back to Sungkyunkwan and that’s a waste of the 60,000 won registration fee (I already wasted 50,000 won at SNU) and 30% of the tuition fee because only 70% is refundable in case I decide to back out a week before class starts. So this gives me a lot of pressure to do well in the placement test. If I pass to Level 4 that would be best for I can finish until Level 6 since I’m planning to study for 3 semesters. 
New Record
I checked my weight this morning and I was very surprised to see that I gained another kilo. Oh my! This is the heaviest I’ve ever gotten so far. I actually thought that I’m losing weight because my abs area seems to be losing some fats ㅋㅋㅋ. But it was a mistake. What else should I do to lose weight? Hmmmm….
